TANGO PEER-LED SESSIONS

The Peer-Led Sessions are designed to give our community members the stage.
Share your projects, teaching approaches, or artistic insights, and lead a session that sparks creativity and dialogue.

Applications: January 12 – March 3, 2026
Notification of selected proposals: March 16, 2026

Spots will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. 

What you can propose

  • Talks or presentations on performance, education, or research.
  • Workshops or masterclasses on technique or interpretation.
  • Discussion forums exploring themes that matter to you.
  • Demonstrations or mini-concerts showing your creative process.

Who can apply

  • Current or former TFM participants.
  • Musicians actively involved in tango education or performance.
  • Individuals or ensembles (1–4 people).

How to Apply

Applicants must complete the official form and submit the following required information:
● Full name(s) of presenter(s) or ensemble name
● Contact email and phone number
● Short bio (100–150 words)
● Session title
● Rationale (brief justification; max. ~200 words)
● Activity type (class / workshop / lecture / discussion forum / performance / other)
● Format & dynamics (description of methodology, participation, and structure)
● Detailed outline / syllabus
● Preferred session length (45 or 60 minutes)
