testimonios acerca del libro

“While guitar has an iconic place in most music that has emerged in the New World, there may be no spot more mysterious than the guitarist’s chair in tango music. In this amazingly comprehensive book, Sebastián Henríquez takes us deep into one of the most unusual and beautiful applications of this endlessly malleable instrument.”

“It’s not just anyone that can write a book that will stay with the curious reader for a lifetime. This is exactly what Sebastián Henríquez offers us with this timely treatise that all who love tango should read. This book helps achieve a deeper understanding of the genre and opens up new paths for guiding us with extreme attention to every detail.”

“It is only with passion that someone can account for a relationship as intense and fundamental as the one between the guitar and tango. This book summarizes the many nuances in this relationship by means of two fundamental elements: the acknowledgement of a tradition and the will to expand upon it.”
